At Puppy Pre-school bring training treats and a toy.

Early socialisation is CRUCIAL, a puppy must have all stimuli well ingrained by the age of 16
weeks. In general, before 16 weeks everything is interesting and must be investigated, after that
age everything is scary - they may bite it or run away.
To allow pups to learn to integrate with other dogs and with people, we run puppy pre-school
'parties' where the pups in the practice meet each other to play and learn the social ropes.
By the end of the four sessions owners and puppies should have the skills to:
_ Interact politely with humans and dogs of all ages
_ Be consistently recalled - ('Come')
_ Walk on the lead at the owner's side.
_ Sit on command.
_ Down on command.
_ Be housetrained and have bite inhibition.

Puppy Pre-School - 'Parties'

You MUST pre-book for puppy parties, if you have not booked at your puppy please phone us:

Puppy parties take place every Tuesday and Wednesday between 7pm and 8.30pm.
Puppy parties cost £15.00 each for the first two sessions, and £5.00 each for
the last two. Payment must be made in cash.

Please bring along some training treats and a toy as well as a collar and lead.
Your puppy must have had its first vaccination at least a week before and be
in good health.

We believe that early socialisation is one of the most crucial things you can do for your puppy, it massively reduces the risk of behavioural problems, one of the main reasons for animals being re-homed or even put to sleep.
